How do I load funds?
VCpay offers multiple methods to load funds into your account:
- You can either link your credit card or cheque card.
- Make a direct EFT into one of VCpay’s accounts, see details below.
- Or use one of the thousands of EasyPay points across the country.
- Alternatively you can redeem a promotional voucher to instantly load funds into your account.
How do I EFT funds into my VCpay account?
VCpay has accounts with all the major banks in South Africa.
You can EFT your funds into any of the following bank accounts, which will then reflect in your VCpay account within 30 minutes for intra-bank transfers (for the same bank, i.e. FNB to FNB) and up to 48 hours (2 working days) for inter-bank transfers (i.e. Nedbank to ABSA).
You MUST use the mobile number you registered with as the reference number, with no spaces and/or characters in between.

|Capitec (Other Banks)||VCpay also supports all other banks in South Africa including Capitec. Simply transfer funds from your bank account to any one of the existing accounts shown above.
As this will be an inter-bank transfer, it may take up to 48 hours for the funds to reflect in your VCpay account.
Tips for doing EFTs:
- Make it quick and easy to add funds to VCpay when you need to byadding VCpay to your payment beneficiary list.
- That way you can top-up your account straight from your mobile banking app.
- If you bank with any of the banks listed above,use these details to do the transfer.
- That will mean that topping up your VCpay account is almost instant (see above).
IMPORTANT: Standard Bank transfers are only available from 08h00 to 23h00, Monday through to Saturday, and are not available on Sundays and Public holidays.

Depositing cash with my EasyPay number
With thousands of EasyPay pay points around South Africa, you can easily deposit cash into your VCpay account by making a payment to the EasyPay number provided in your app.
When you register with VCpay you are automatically given your very own EasyPay number (see in-app under My Funds for your number). You can use this unique EasyPay number when depositing funds at any of the pay points.
The EasyPay payment option can be located in the VCpay app under the My Funds section.
Funds deposited at an EasyPay pay point can take up to 48 hours to reflect in your VCpay account. This depends on when and where the payment was made, as some merchant points take longer to reflect than others. If your funds have still not reflected in your account after 48 hours, please contact the VCpay support team.
Linking my credit/cheque card
You can safely and securely link your credit card to the app, this will allow you to instantly add funds whenever you need to. VCpay is PCI DSS compliant, this means all of our systems are secure and all cardholder data is fully protected.
This is one of the many reasons why VCpay is the safest way to pay online.
When linking a credit/cheque card, your bank will send you a One Time PIN (OTP) via email or sms to authenticate that you are authorised to use the card in question. However, if your credit/cheque card is not 3D Secure enabled you will receive a 6 digit verification code on your credit card statement. You need to enter the code in the app to link your card to VCpay. If you are unable to locate this 6 digit verification code, please contact either your bank’s credit card consultant or our support team.
